Garden Club:

The BESIC Garden Club works to maintain our outdoor gardens and greenhouse while learning about plants and the environment. We will meet 6 times during our spring session. If your student is interested in joining the group, please complete and return the permission slip to the I.C. office by Tuesday, March 26. Even if your student participated in Garden Club in the fall, please complete this permission slip again.

 

For safety reasons, we will limit the number of students to 15 per adult helper with a maximum of 45 students. IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW IS WILLING TO VOLUNTEER AS A GARDEN HELPER, WE CAN INCREASE OUR GROUP SIZE. No gardening experience is needed!

 

Dates: (all Wednesdays)

March 27, April 3,10,17,24, May 1

 

Time:

3:15-4:15pm Please pick up your student by the garden on the NE side of the school, and use the bus loop on the north side of the building.

 

If the after-school sessions aren’t an option for your student, ALL BESIC STUDENTS are invited to help in the garden every Wednesday (weather permitting) during their afternoon recess. You do not need to sign a permission slip to help during recess.
